The cart is designed and planned to be as easy to handle and manoeuvre as possible, without compromising on safety, quality and comfort. The result is a cart of less than 50 kg (incl. battery).

The centre of gravity has been placed as low as possible allowing for suspension movement. This together with the independent front suspension gives the cart a high level of stability when cornering. It also allows for safe operation at a side angle of up to 27°!

The TADHOLE comes standard with a 2Ah charger. A high speed 5Ah charger is however available as an optional extra.

The current design does not allow for pedalling, but it is planned to accommodate the option in future. In the meantime, the Tadhole team is happy to negotiate this option that will be seen as a complete and specific modification.

The frame comes with a 3 year manufacturers warranty. The motor and battery comes with a 1 year warranty. Items subject to normal wear and tear such as tires, bearing, brake pads, seat material, etc. are not covered by warranty.

Although protection against theft ultimately is the responsibility of the owner, we have sourced a GPRS tracker unit (optional) which apart from tracking the location of the cart can also notify a predetermined mobile phone on a variety of activities including movement, removal from a predefined area, disconnection of battery, etc. This can also be routed to an audible alarm if required.

Not being peddle assisted the battery has been sized to comfortably ensure the completion of 18 holes , accommodate reduced life over time and limit the weight. Using standard e-bike battery mounts, the battery can be replaced with another battery for extended use. The TADHOLE can also be fitted with a dual battery on request.

First prize is to ensure that the battery is fully charged before riding. However, as batteries do fail it is possible that you can be left stranded. With a 65/35 weight distribution between front and rear wheels it is easy to lift the cart at the rear and comfortably walk it to safety.

At around 50 kg the cart can easily be loaded onto a double cab pick-up (open tailgate) or a lightweight trailer by two people. In addition a tow-bar rack is available allowing the user to single-handedly load the Tadhole cart onto the rack removing the need for a specialized trailer. A trailer carrier can also be provided to load the cart onto a luggage trailer when going on holiday.

There are no specific storage requirements. The low weight and lithium-ion battery allows for various storage options including vertical and even upside down storage. A wall-mounted hoisting system can be ordered as an optional extra, which will allow you to easily pull the cart up against a wall for storage purposes.

Similar to most single seaters the TADHOLE does not have a canopy as standard. There is, however, the option of adding a canopy to your cart as optional extra that can be found on the Tadhole e-store.

As the Tadhole carts are intended for use on non-public roads no license is required. Operation is simple and similar to a quad bike. It is, however, advised that minors operate the carts under adult supervision. The need for a license when using a Tadhole cart on your local golf course will be determined by the rules of the course.

Yes, the Tadhole is fitted with a lockable and removable e-bike battery.

With limited moveable parts limited spares are required. Spares subject to normal wear and tear are, however, available directly from Tadhole if not available from your local bicycle shop. All repairs can be done by the Tadhole team.
